A round and welcoming form, Austin was created to bring people together. The smooth carrara marble table top rests on a solid oak base that is reminiscent of ancient tree trunks. Designed by Australian-based designer, Patryk Koca, who was inspired by his childhood spent exploring wild coastlines with unique rock formations and sharing leisurely meals with loved ones.

Care instructions
Wipe any spills immediately and clean the Carrara marble top with a desgnated marble cleaners. Use placemats and trivets for extra protection. Be mindful of placement, as extreme conditions (such as harsh Australian sun) can change the colour of the timber. Do not use acid or bleach-based cleaners. Papaya recommends the Sure Seal Grout, Tile & Stone Slow Drying Sealer for marble.

All our solid wood products are thoroughly inspected before and after the manufacturing process to ensure all wood is adequately seasoned. However, due to varying moisture levels, temperatures and regions across Australia, natural splitting, cracking (known as checking) and loss of natural oils may still occur and form part of the characteristics and beauty of our solid wood products. These do not compromise the items performance or integrity in any way and are not viewed as imperfections or faults but rather part of timber’s natural life and beauty. 

Clean any spills immediately, using a clean and dry soft white cloth to absorb the liquid. Then use lukewarm water and wring out a soft clean cloth (and mild soap if required – 3-5% solution). Dab the stain, then use only a wrung-out cloth to remove excess soap.

Wipe spills immediately. Regular cleaning and dusting will help keep timber in its best condition. A damp cloth and mild soap can be used as required. Do not use bleach, acidic cleaners, or abrasive cleaning products. Application of Sure Seal Timber Sealer or similar can create a barrier to avoid stains penetrating the top layers of the timber. Follow instructions on pack carefully as incorrect application voids your warranty. Re-apply every
4-6 months.
