General Delivery Conditions

  1. Delivery Restrictions: We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, parcel lockers, Locked Bags, or similar services.

  2. Delivery Location Requirements:

    • Our vehicle must be able to park safely within 20 meters of the delivery access point.
    • The delivery address must be safe, clean, and free of risks (e.g., hazards, securely restrained pets). We may refuse delivery if these conditions are not met.
  3. Delivery Timing:

    • Delivery times and dates are estimates and subject to various factors such as weather, traffic, and postal contingencies. Therefore, we cannot guarantee delivery on the arranged date.
  4. Liability for Damage:

    • While we take reasonable care during delivery, there is an inherent risk of damage (e.g., wet or scratched floors, scuffed walls). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any property damage during delivery, including due to our or our driver's negligence.
  5. Acceptance of Delivery:

    • Deliveries must be accepted at the delivery address by you or your nominated person, who must be at least 18 years old, have photographic and/or credit card identification as authorized prior to delivery, and be able to sign for receipt of the goods.
    • We reserve the right to request the credit card holder to be present at delivery.
  6. Reporting Issues:

    • You must notify Our Baylor at the time of delivery of any damage to goods or property, or if the goods do not match your order. Without such notice, and to the extent permitted by law, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods and delivery.
  7. Missed Deliveries:

    • If you or your authorized nominee is not present at the time of delivery, the goods will not be delivered, and an additional delivery charge will apply for redelivery.
  8. Legal Compliance:

    • Nothing in these conditions will exclude, restrict, or modify any condition, warranty, guarantee, right, or remedy mandated or implied by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by law.
  9. Reporting Damaged Products:

    • If a product is delivered in a damaged condition, please contact us at info@ourbaylor.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. For safety reasons, do not install or use the product unless advised. Please visit our Return Policy page for more details.

 

What Does Delivery Include?

The following terms and conditions apply:

  1. Packaging:

    • Products will be delivered in their original packaging. Please note that goods will not be unboxed.
  2. Service Limitations:

    • This service does not include setup or the removal of any packaging or existing furniture. If you request a white glove service, please email info@ourbaylor.com.au for a quote
  3. Access Requirements:

    • Products, including their original packaging and trolley, must be able to fit through all doorways, access points, and stairs at your nominated delivery address. If this is not possible, the driver will leave your item as close as possible to your requested location.
    • Delivery drivers have the right to refuse to carry products by hand or otherwise if, in their opinion, doing so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access.
    • Our drivers may refuse to locate your new furniture in your nominated location if they believe it may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access.
  4. Changing Delivery Details:

    • If you wish to change the delivery date or address for an order from Our Baylor, notify the store where the purchase was made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in incurring a second delivery cost.
  5. Missed Deliveries:

    • If you are not home at the time of delivery, you will be liable for a second delivery fee.

 

How can I track my parcel?

Once orders are dispatched, we will contact you via email with a tracking link for your parcel/s. You can also track your order from this link.

 

How Long Does Delivery Take?

Our Baylor has several warehouses throughout Australia, and the delivery time depends on factors such as product availability, dispatch schedules, and the delivery location. Customers are encouraged to check the estimated delivery time for their specific order during the purchase process.

 

What If No One Is Available to Accept the Delivery?

By accepting this policy, you are granting us permission to authorise the courier to leave the item in a safe place if you are unavailable to receive it. If you do not wish to authorise this, please inform us accordingly by leaving a note when check out or email us to info@ourbaylor.com.au or 0488 124 789.

If you choose not to authorise the courier to leave the item in a safe place or there is no safe place for the courier leave the items, it becomes the responsibility of customers to ensure they are available to receive their shipments or to make suitable alternative arrangements for receiving delivery. Customers will be responsible for covering any additional costs incurred for re-deliveries or adjustments after the order has been dispatched.

 

Can I Pick Up My Order from the Warehouse?

Unfornately, Our Baylor does not provide the option for customers to pick up their orders from the warehouse. 

 

What If I Live Outside the Standard Delivery Areas?

For customers residing outside our standard delivery zones, Our Baylor can help coordinate delivery. Nevertheless, we suggest arranging your own third-party delivery service for more flexibility and options suitable for your location. For assistance with these arrangements, please contact our customer service team.

 

Do You Offer International Shipping or Free Delivery?

Is it possible to obtain a commercial warranty for a product?

Our Baylor can advise on which of our products are best suited for commercial applications. It's crucial to provide written details regarding the nature of your project and the intended use of the products when they are to be utilised in commercial settings or environments. Commercial warranties may be available on a case-by-case basis, depending on Our Baylor’s assessment of the product's suitability for the intended purpose. To inquire, please email info@ourbaylor.com.au with the product list and details about the project and the specific areas where the items will be used. The issuance of commercial warranties is at Our Baylor's discretion.

 

What is the warranty period for Our Baylor products?

All Our Baylor products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s domestic warranty, excluding fair wear and tear. If you plan to use any of our products in a non-residential environment or for commercial purposes (such as in rental accommodations or reception areas), please reach out to us to discuss the product’s suitability for commercial installations.
