The Long Island Rattan Occasional Chair is hand crafted using a combination of materials mango wood, rattan, slimit weave, an unprocessed rattan species with hard outer skin 3-4mm in diameter with the colour naturally varying from pale oak to tan. With an outer protective skin this species is one of the most resilient weaving materials available. Suitable for indoor use only, the seat cushion is provided for extra comfort to sit and relax after a long day. Please note: Rattan is not designed for full outdoor use. If placed outdoors or even in covered outdoor areas, it may weather, fade, or change over time due to exposure to sunlight and moisture. We recommend indoor use or placing it in well-protected areas.
